On this date in WWE history: 3 Stages of Hell at Armageddon

Although Shawn Michaels and Triple H have been best friends since the mid to late 1990s, the two have put on some of the greatest matches in WWE history when they were paired off against each other. Indeed, The Kliq was infamous for smashing their foot down on the gas pedal when they were working together and the proof, as they say, is in the pudding.

This was the same year that saw the "Heartbreak Kid" return from four years away at SummerSlam in (arguably) a five-star match against "The Game." This was also just one month after the very first Elimination Chamber match that tore the house down at Survivor Series.
