Although there wasn't much creative energy put into it, there will be a tag team championship match at the upcoming TLC pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., Dec. 15, 2013, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, as the Cody Rhodes & Goldust (Rhodes Bros) will defend their straps against the Real Americans, Ryback & Curtis Axel (Rybaxel), and Rey Myserio & Big Show (MysteriShow).
From the WWE.com match preview:
WWE's tag team division is arguably as competitive as ever, with a stellar mix of decorated veterans, explosive newcomers and teams on the edge of outright Superstar-dom, all positioning to be the top dogs. Currently, it's the Rhodes brothers who rule the roost, as the resurgent Goldust and the eminently talented Cody have brought prestige and class to the WWE Tag Team Championships.
But with the number of championship contenders swelling, the division has once again become anyone's game. And at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, the WWE Tag Team Titles will be put on the line in a Fatal 4-Way bout pitting the champions against Big Show & Rey Mysterio, Ryback & Curtis Axel and The Real Americans.
If nothing else, this should be a fun match. That's no small thing with the rest of the card looking bleak as far as match quality is concerned.
We shall see.
