CSSGMT First Round Match: (3) Spearing Hardy vs. (14) Snakebit Savage

The first round of the Cageside Seats Greatest Moment Tournament continues today with a match-up pitting number three seed Spearing Hardy, featuring Edge hitting Jeff Hardy with a spear from way too high up, against number 14 seed Snakebit Savage, featuring a live cobra biting Macho Man Randy Savage's arm.

Spearing Hardy:

The Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian had a legendary rivalry in the late 90s and early 00s, mostly over who would do the crazier spots in high profile tag team gimmick matches. Edge went above and beyond at WrestleMania 17 by spearing Jeff Hardy off a gigantic ladder while Hardy was hanging suspended above the ring.

Snakebit Savage:

After being forced into retirement for losing to Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 7, Macho Man Randy Savage did commentary and married Miss Elizabeth. It was there that Jake Roberts decided to target him. During one segment, Roberts lured Savage away from the announce desk and into the ring, where he attacked the Macho Man, tied him up in the ropes, and had a snake bite his arm. It was insane.
