WWE Survivor Series results: John Cena wins (LOL)

John Cena wins. Does more need to be said?

Alberto Del Rio was given his rematch against John Cena for the world heavyweight championship at tonight's (Sun., Nov. 24, 2013) WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.

No one gave him much of a chance to win.

He didn't.

That's because John Cena is John Cena and while Del Rio had himself a decent run with the title when he won it from Big Show early in the year, that all went to hell during the summer and into the fall. Once Cena was set to return to action and The Authority storyline was running wild on Monday Night Raw, it was decided Cena would bring some legitimacy back to the Big Gold Belt.

The way he does that is by defeating all challengers, especially the one he took the belt from in the first place.

As for the match itself, well, the psychology going in centered on Del Rio being a big threat because he could target Cena's bad arm. He worked it over early, then again late, but Cena ultimately overcame.

Because that's what he does.
