The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Survivor Series event set to take place on Sun., Nov. 24, 2013, at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.
We're now officially just one week out from showtime and only three matches are official for the show so far.
- Randy Orton vs. Big Show (WWE championship)
Just last week on Raw, Big Show was given his job back under order of the Board of Directors. In exchange for not suing the company for millions of dollars, he was awarded a title shot against Orton. He was immediately beat down and received no help from any babyface on the roster. He did get some revenge with a beatdown of his own the next week.
- John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio (World heavyweight championship)
Last week on SmackDown, Del Rio demanded his rematch with the champ. Cena offered to give it to him right then and there but because Vickie Guerrero is a dastardly General Manager who knows what's best for business, she put them in separate matches that night and announced the rematch would take place at this show. Not a whole lot of meat to this feud and it's likely over after Cena squashes him here.
- Daniel Bryan & CM Punk vs. Wyatt Family
Although the creative direction on Raw this past week appeared to be leading to a six-on-six Survivor Series elimination match, WWE decided to go with a straight tag team affair here. It's possible the go home episode of Raw will change that but for now, this is what we're getting.
That's the current match card and line-up, Cagesiders. You buying yet? If not, look for other matches to be added on Raw tomorrow night in Nashville.
