Slapstick Saturday: Melina splits with Santino Marella

Being a WWE Diva is a tough gig.

While there are obvious exceptions to the rule, most Divas can't wrestle that well. But in their defense, most of them aren't expected to. Those Divas who can wrestle, are often times paired up with those who can't, so it's still a lose-lose proposition.

So if you're a Diva, you need to make sure you maximize every second of precious screen time or at the very least, find a way to get yourself over. One of those ways is a nifty ring entrance, like the way Stacy Keibler used to climb through the ropes while arching her back.

Uh huh.

Hachi machi!

Also finding a creative way to get through the ropes was ex-WWE Diva Melina, who had a sultry little number that involved dropping down to the mat -- cooter first -- then dragging her goods across the ring like a dog with a dingleberry. It sounds a lot sexier than I'm describing it.

Naturally, it didn't take long for Santino Marella to find a way to parody her entrance, because he's the resident funny guy and doesn't mind putting himself out there for a few laughs. But perhaps he forgot that men are built differently than women.

A lot differently.

Ouch!

Well, perhaps that little dungaree dip resonated with Melina, because the time came when she found herself pulling a Marella. The only difference is, she wasn't trying to be funny, and color commentator (and resident horndog) Jerry Lawler had spent most of her walkout telling us how sexy her moves were.

Then, this.
