The WWE Divas Championship is on the line as AJ continues her crusade against the Total Divas as she squares off with Brie Bella.

The Road to Battleground

Ever since AJ cut her infamous promo against the Total Divas, she as been in the war path to prove to the world that she alone stands a top the Diva' division. Her first major victory in her crusade came at Night of Champions as she successfully defended her title in a Fatal Four Way against Natalya, Brie, and Naomi.

Since that night, AJ has focused her aggression on Brie Bella and brought in some help. To help counter the numbers disadvantage, AJ has recently recruited Tamina- Jimmy the Superfly Snuka's daughter, to her side.

While AJ has been focusing her efforts, Brie has faced major distractions.

As news of her engagement to Daniel Bryan has broken, Bryan's nemesis Orton has ramped up his underlying vicious nature. Using Brie as a path to Bryan, Orton has been constantly harassing the Total Diva and destroying her fiancé before her eyes.

Will this distraction be the advantage AJ needs?

What's at stake?

If AJ is to be believed, the title isn't the only thing on the line at battleground. The soul of the Diva's division is at stake as well.

Will the "real wrestler" or the glamour model triumph? Will Tamina play a role? Can Brie maintain focus enough to triumph?
