WWE Main Event spoilers and open thread for Oct. 23

WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Oct. 23, 2013) at 8 p.m. ET on ION Television from Birmingham, Alabama. As per usual, this episode was taped on Tuesday prior to the Friday Night SmackDown tapings.

In lieu of a live blog, we're going to hit you with spoilers for tonight's show while also providing an open thread for discussion once the broadcast goes live.

- Seth Rollins def. Goldust after a distraction from Roman Reigns in the form of beating on Cody Rhodes. All hype for this weekend's tag title match.

- Real Americans def. Prime Time Players via submission with Jack Swagger forcing Titus O'Neil to tap to the Patriot Lock. Remember when it was called the "Patriot Act"? That was way cooler, right?

- Funkadactyls def. Alicia Fox & Aksana because reasons.

- Damien Sandow def. Dolph Ziggler and I can't believe this is where this match took place on the card. The fact that Sandow has the Money in the Bank briefcase doesn't really even matter anymore, especially if John Cena is winning the title. At least with Ziggler, it was always on the edges of the story and you bought that he was winning the belt at some point. It's now gotten so bad that Sandow just has a case with a paper but no promise in it.
