Off the Top Rope: A Cagesider Podcast (Episode 33) - WWF SummerSlam 2001

"Off The Top Rope": Is a Cagesider Podcast made for you, by fans like you -- all about Pro Wrestling, of course! This week's episode with Mike & Rex features talk about SummerSlam 2001 and more!

The latest episode of Off The Top Rope is here!

The Cagesider's Pro Wrestling Podcast - made for you - by fans like you, has been made available for your listening pleasure as of today (October 10, 2013), by none-other-than your fellow Cagesiders, Mike (vfn) & Rex Ivanovic (the author formerly known as Buckeye Brawler).

Each episode features the guys discussing the latest news and goings-on of note in the pro wrestling world. Plus, they review a classic professional wrestling event.

In this episode, Rex and Mike wildly disagree about Battleground, talk about if Daniel Bryan will truly get a real shot as the WWE's top guy with HHH as his nemesis and John Cena back, and talk Hogan's creative control and terrible TNA segments.

After the break, we go further into the Invasion. Good to great wrestling, but overbooking in almost every match and a couple of stinkers keep this show from feeling as good as it would in pieces.

We then name our MVP and LVPs and reveal which show we're watching next week, Survivor Series 1990!
