Daily Open Thread for Tuesday, Jan. 15: I can't hear you... a little louder!

Here's your Daily Open Thread for Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. As usual, come discuss whatever you would like, whether you get bored at work, have something on your mind, or just want to chat with all your favorite lovely Cagesiders on any topic you want!

But right now, there is something I have to say... and I am gonna need you to shut up when I am talking to you:

I cannot take this anymore, saying everything I've said before. All these words they make no sense... I find bliss in ignorance. Less I hear the less you'll say. You'll find out that anyway. Just like before...

I find the answers aren't so clear. Wish I could find a way to disappear. All these thoughts they make no sense... I found bliss in ignorance. Nothing seems to go away, over and over again, just like before...

Today's lyrical rant and video, spurred by yesterday's open thread, is from one of my all time favorite concerts. And like many rock songs, it is thee most enjoyable when played at thee loudest possible volume your ear drums can withstand, and then just a notch louder... and of course it is against the laws of rock to not scream along with (I defy you not to feel something move within you, if you try it at least once -- maybe in your car on the way home from work tonight?).

This footage is of the entire insane concert they put on that day, but we are actually joining them for their last number here; so, kinda like getting to have your dessert before dinner!
