Eddie Guerrero vs. Dean Malenko, ECW TV 1995
When Guerrero and Malenko showed up in ECW, it was like they just wanted a place to have ridiculously awesome matches together. That's exactly what they did, too, before being signed away by WCW.
Their final encounter, a 2 out of 3 falls match, was as good as it gets.
Hart Foundation vs. Team Austin, Canadian Stampede 1997
Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin's feud led to three matches in this tournament, two singles bouts and this 10-man tag match. After Austin turned babyface at WrestleMania 13, Hart went heel in the U.S. -- but remained as beloved as ever in Canada -- and formed the new Hart Foundation (consisting of Owen Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, British Bulldog, and Brian Pillman).
Hart would challenge Austin to find four of the best wrestlers he could for a match against the Hart Foundation at the Canadian Stampede event in Calgary. Team Austin eventually ended up consisting of Ken Shamrock, Goldust, and the Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal).
The match, and especially the crowd, was bonkers.
