CSSGMT: 'Royal Rumble 1992' Advances to Round of 32

With a tear in his eye ...
With a tear in his eye ...

The 1992 Royal Rumble is so widely regarded as the greatest Rumble of all time, it's almost become fact. That's why it's no real surprise it beat out Kenta Kobashi vs. Samoa Joe, Joe vs. Kobashi 2005 in the Cageside Seats Greatest Matches Tournament.

The final tally was close at 38-26, but the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) rules the day once again over Ring of Honor (ROH).

There were compelling arguments for both. How can the greatest Rumble of all time lose in the first round as a three seed? Then again, Kobashi vs. Joe received a rare five-star rating from Dave Meltzer, which still means something in the pro wrestling world.

I guess there's just something about the Royal Rumble.

Check out the vote tally list after the jump and remember to vote in today's match-up pitting "Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker, WrestleMania 25" VS. "Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Survivor Series 1996".
