Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker, WrestleMania 25

In 2009, there was basically a sweepstakes for the right to face 'Taker at WrestleMania that year. His streak is more important than any other event at the biggest show of the year, so it's become a hot ticket.

Michaels came out ahead of JBL and Vladimir Kozlov to earn the right and the two built their feud based on their storied history dating back longer than a decade, although the religious undertones were difficult to stomach for some.

The match itself turned out to be an absolute gem, though.

Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Survivor Series 1996

Austin kickstarted issues between the two by running down Hart while he was on hiatus and becoming the cool heel Hart always despised. Because he was one hell of a hand inside the ring, "The Hitman" wanted to work with him so they hooked up for Hart's first match back with a WWF championship match on the line.

It was an amazing match that marked the beginning of a long and profitable feud for the both of them.
