Remember that sweet new logo we busted out while teasing some major changes coming to Cageside Seats and SB Nation as a whole?
It's coming soon. Sooner than you think. And it's time to get you ready for it.
There's no specific date for launch just yet but it's coming and I wanted to give you the chance to take a look at a few screenshots of the changes you'll see and explain why we're making a switch. There are a few reasons you should immediately be aware of:
- SB Nation United is going to make our sites load faster and run better meaning you can get to the content you want faster.
- SB Nation United is going to make sure that you're seeing the best and brightest content up front with our flexible layout, modern design and reduction of clutter.
- SB Nation United is going to make the experience on our sites run seamlessly from every platform, whether mobile, tablet or computer. No matter where you are, the experience will not change.
- SB Nation United will not take away or change any of the community elements you love like FanPosts and FanShots and GameThreads.

Here's what you'll see at the top of our page, which is a great way for us to feature top content:
We'll also be integrating technology known as "StoryStream," which is an awesome way to avoid having to clutter the entire front page with updates to one story. For instance, when Jerry Lawler had his heart attack, Cageside Seats became Jerry Lawler Heart Attack Seats. He dominated the front page, and rightfully so, but this new technology gives us the chance to update the story all in one post.
Here's how it will look:
Another cool new feature will be FanPosts and FanShots having their own page. You'll get the chance to see them on the front page off to the side like now but this is much better.
We also fixed that pesky issue about mobile:
