Jerry Lawler arrives back in Memphis after spending a week in a hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, when he suffered a heart attack during a live episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. We've gone over this from every angle and covered each new development and I'm still amazed at how incredibly well he looks despite the circumstances.
This is a man who had a massive heart attack, was out for damn near 20 minutes, had to be revived by a stellar medical team, had emergency surgery, and spent a week in a hospital a long way from home and he looks none the worse for the wear.
In fact, his next appearance on Raw has already been booked, as it was announced during last night's (Sept. 17, 2012) show that "The King" will be interviewed next week. He won't be there in person but they'll do the old "live via satellite" deal. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a pre-tape for precautionary reasons but the fact that Lawler will be back on Raw in any capacity this soon after his ordeal is simply amazing.
Long live the King indeed.
