Team Anger Management now holds the WWE tag team championships.
Daniel Bryan and Kane, the mismatched team who came together through their mutual need for anger management therapy, won the titles at tonight's (Sun., Sept. 16, 2012) Night of Champions pay-per-view in Boston, Massachusetts, by defeating Kofi Kingston and R-Truth.
They did it by being at odds with each other, too.
The match was moving along just fine, a typical back-and-forth affair. The crowd was hot for Bryan and Kane and they got even hotter when the two started battling halfway through. Towards the end, Bryan saved Kane from getting dumped off the top rope but the "Big Red Monster" was none too pleased with this. So he struck back. This led to Bryan getting angry (get it?) and knocking Kane off the top and onto Kingston, who was laying on the mat below.
Kane was incapacitated for about three seconds, just long enough to get the pin to win the belts.
Anger isn't all bad after all is the lesson ... I guess.
