WWE Night of Champions results: Zack Ryder wins pre-show battle royal

The pre-show is officially in the books and the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) is about to get underway tonight (Sun., Sept. 16, 2012) in Boston, Massachusetts.

And Zack Ryder will be contesting for the United States championship on it.

That's right, "The Long Island Iced Z!" won the U.S. title number one contender battle royal for the right to move on to the PPV to take on Antonio Cesaro. He outlasted such names as Brodus Clay, Tensai, the Prime Time Players, Tyson Kidd, and Drew McIntyre.

Basically, the entire roster of Superstars.
