Admit it: this is the last direction you expected this to go, right?

After Daniel Bryan and Kane were paired together for a series of wildly successful anger management skits, WWE decided the chemistry between the two is so good, they simply made them a tag team.

Not only that, they found a way to insert them into a tag team championship match against current titleholders Kofi Kingston and R-Truth at the Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) event this coming Sun., Sept. 16, 2012, in Boston, Massachusetts.

On last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, the Prime Time Players, the original number one contenders, were inexplicably put into a match to risk their top contender status by General Manager AJ Lee. Really, it was simply a lazy booking strategy with an even lazier explanation just to get Bryan and Kane paired up for a match at the PPV.

It seems almost certain they'll win the belts. As over as they are combined with the many built in storylines with the anger management classes seems to point straight in the direction of the mismatched pair leaving the great northeast with gold.

We shall see.
