Jerry Lawler, who collapsed during last night's (Sept. 10, 2012) episode of WWE Monday Night Raw in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, has reportedly undergone heart surgery to repair the blockage that caused his heart attack.
This according to yet another update from Arda Ocal:
Received word from two sources that Jerry Lawler has undergone a heart procedure to repair blockage.
According to most reports from backstage and coming out of the show, the situation was dire and had it not been for the speedy actions of the EMT's and medical personnel at the arena when everything went down, Lawler may have died right there in his ringside announce chair.
Instead, he was rushed to the back and revived before being taken to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. He's certainly not out of trouble yet but so far everything has gone the way it's needed to to ensure his survival after this scary situation.
