Video: Kurt Angle talks Olympics with TNA Today

All the way back in May 2011, Kurt Angle was seriously talking about returning to amateur wrestling at the ripe old age of 42 in an attempt to make the 2012 Olympic team. Well, for those of you following the Olympics this year, you can quite obviously tell he failed in his bid to do so.

It was always a pipe dream, but Angle claimed hamstring and knee issues were to blame as opposed to his being too old and over-the-hill. Despite his various physical issues, he continued to wrestle for TNA and he's still doing so today, participating in the Bound for Glory Series and being featured prominently while doing so.

Still, he's candid in the above interview regarding his missing out this year while also showing his passion for the Olympic games.
