Due to the Waldo Canyon wildfire, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has elected to cancel its scheduled Smackdown tapings at the World Arena in Colorado Springs next Tuesday night (July 10, 2012).
The company announced as much today while also revealing that refunds are available.
For those with tickets to Monday Night Raw next week, which takes place at the Pepsi Arena in Denver, Colorado, and is the go home show to the Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) on July 15 in Phoenix, Arizona, you're in for a double dose of fun.
That's because Smackdown will tape on the very same night.
WWE has decided to donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts for the fire, a gesture that deserves praise. For all the negative press they get, it's stuff like this that deserves a bit more of the spotlight.
