Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling continued its Bound for Glory (BFG) Series on tonight's (June 28, 2012) episode of Impact with a few matches that greatly affected the standings.

Samoa Joe picked up a submission victory over Bully Ray to get him to within a victory away from surpassing James Storm. Rob Van Dam scored a pinfall win over Mr. Anderson to finally put himself on the board.

That's 10 and seven points, respectively.

Here's a look at the updated standings:

1. James Storm -- 36 points
2. Samoa Joe -- 27 points
3. Kurt Angle -- 10 points
4. Mr. Anderson -- 9 points
5. Jeff Hardy -- 7 points
6. Magnus -- 7 points
7. D'Angelo Dinero -- 7 points
8. Christopher Daniels -- 5 points
9. Rob Van Dam -- 7 points
10. Bully Ray -- 0 points
11. Robbie E -- 0 points
12. AJ Styles -- 0 points

It's a little goofy to have three guys in the series with zero points after so many matches but we're talking about TNA, who does its absolute best to juggle 59 storylines at one time for the various talents they don't have the television to service.

Still, at least Storm and Joe are within one submission victory from each other. Perhaps that's a bit of foreshadowing? Anyone think "The Cowboy" heads into the final with a nine point lead against "The Samoan Submission Machine" with a shot at Bobby Roode on the line?

This stuff writes itself. The rest is almost immaterial. But again, TNA.
