WWE announces Charlie Sheen as their Celebrity Social Media Ambassador for 1,000th Raw

Tonight during Raw, WWE announced none other than Charlie Sheen would serve as their Celebrity Social Media Ambassador -- whatever that is -- for next month's 1,000th episode of Raw on July 23.

Sheen has been out of the limelight lately as he's been filming his new comedy, Anger Management, for FX. It's a stark contrast to a early last year when his drug and prostitute-fueled antics dominated entertainment headlines.

He was famously fired from his Two and a Half Man gig before engaging in a war of words with his boss and then launched an abysmal multi-city tour.

Can he do better as... well, whatever it is he'll be doing next month? We can only hope.

Award-winning actor Charlie Sheen, star of the new FX sitcom, "Anger Management," will join WWE as the Celebrity Social Media Ambassador for the historic 1,000th episode of Raw. (FULL RAW 1,000 COVERAGE). During the three-hour milestone event July 23 at 8/7 CT on USA Network, the "winning" actor will entertain his 7.5 million Twitter followers and the WWE Universe all night long with his unique 140-character analysis of the action.
