World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), for all its faults, can still be such a fun company.

The organization's website -- which has improved greatly over the past few months or so -- tends to go off the beaten path quite a bit. In fact, one might say that they have no issue with a subtle troll job.

That's why I wasn't surprised to see the second lead story on the front page of WWE.com today is Scott Steiner being added to the Alumni section. Here's a brief bit from his bio:

Boasting an impressive resume of both tag team and singles success, Big Poppa Pump is one of the most memorable competitors and personalities in WWE history. His agility and strength were a dominant combination inside the squared circle and one thing was always certain, "Big Poppa Pump is your hook up. Holler, if you hear me."

This comes on the heels of Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling filing a complaint in court against Steiner for repeatedly making disparaging remarks about the company on his Twitter account. TNA is also in the midst of a lawsuit against WWE for contract tampering.

Which could all add up to nothing, really, or it could be that the editors of WWE.com, with blessings from the powers that be, are having fun at TNA's expense.

Either way, don't expect to see Steiner's name connected to WWE in any more meaningful way anytime soon.
