"John Laurinaitis... YOU'RE FIRED!"
With those words and an Attitude Adjustment through the Spanish announce table, the era of People Power is over.
John Laurinaitis made his way to the ring first followed by The Big Show. Next up was Vince McMahon while John Cena brought up the rear.
The early part of the match saw Show manhandle the WWE posterboy, almost making it look easy as he threw Cena from pillar to pillar. The dominance was so severe the match, a PPV main event, became pretty boring.
It remained like this until Cena was able to counter an avalanche attempt by getting his feet up and nearly climbing out of the cage. Big Show survived getting straddled along the top rope and regained control by slamming his opponent against the chain link.
He made a mistake when attempting a top rope splash and the match became much more interesting then.
At one point, Laurinaitis attempted to block Cena's escape only to have McMahon toss him aside. "Big Johnny" responded by pushing his boss into the cage, knocking both him and Cena for a loop.
The referee got smacked with the WMD punch, half of WWE's midcard roster came out and Brodus Clay held Laurinaitis while Cena escape the cage.
Overbooked? Just a touch.
