Thanks to the folks at FUEL TV, Brock Lesnar's heavyweight championship title loss to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 on Oct. 23, 2010, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, is now available to view for free right here and on YouTube.
While Lesnar's diverticulitis was undoubtedly a major factor in his losing a great deal of interest in mixed martial arts (MMA), this was the fight that truly put it over the top. Shane Carwin had exposed Brock's weaknesses just months prior at UFC 116 and Velasquez exploited them with a knockout victory that created the gnarly scar under Lesnar's left eye that is still visible to this day.
One loss later, another bad knockout to Alistair Overeem, and Lesnar was out of the fight game and waltzing back into our professional wrestling lives. After all, it's much easier giving John Cena an F-5 than fending off strikes from some of the best heavyweight fighters in the world today.
