Spin the wheel, make a deal.
That's exactly what Intercontinental Champion The Big Show and Cody Rhodes will be doing this Sunday (April 29) night in Chicago before Extreme Rules goes live on pay-per-view (PPV).
WWE will be presenting a live pre-show via its own site and its YouTube and Facebook pages which has been promoted with a United States title match between champion Santino and challenger The Miz.
But wait, there's more!
Show and Rhodes will find out exactly what kind of "extreme rules" they'll be having to determine who leaves "The Windy City" with the IC strap.
Tables match? Fall counts anywhere? Perhaps a ladder match tickles your fancy? It's all left up to Lady Luck.
World Championship Wrestling (WCW) dabbled in this kind of chicanery under the guise of Lethal Lottery. Wrestlers would be selected at random to form tag team during this event and sometimes, favor would smile upon a couple of guys and they would join forces with a formidable ally. On the flip side, sometimes a wrestler would be forces to align himself with his greatest of foe.
The kind of match Show and Rhodes end up having could present a good clue as to who will win the match. A wild brawl which a fall counts anywhere match brings would work in Rhodes' favor while a steel cage or lumberjack match would pin the grandson of a plumber inside the squared circle, exactly where the "Weapon of Mass Destruction" would like him.
What match are you hoping to see, Cagesiders?
