WWE Raw ratings for Extreme Rules go-home show average 4.38 million viewers

WWE Monday Night Raw went down last night (April 23, 2012) from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, and featured the go-home angles for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) set to take place this Sunday night in Chicago, Illinois.

The ratings are in and while they weren't mind-blowing, they were as good as can be expected in today's pro wrestling landscape.

It was a three hour show last night, so the extra hour skewed the final average down to 4.38 million viewers. The first hour, which always does poor because television viewers are terrible creatures of habit, did just 3.66 million viewers while the second improved to 4.67 and the third and final hour averaged 4.83.

It's a shame so few viewers tuned in to the first hour, as they missed the return of Edge for a damn good promo. In fact, that may have been the only really good aspect of the entire three hour show.

I know plenty of you will disagree.
