TNA Lockdown takes place this Sun., April 15, 2012, live on pay-per-view and the long awaited Bobby Roode vs. James Storm heavyweight championship showdown is the main event.
Which is why they were given the headlining spot on the go-home edition of Impact to sell the show. And did they ever.
This was a seriously strong segment showcasing some sickeningly special talent from both men on the microphone. Their intensity really sold the issues between the two, driving home just how important the actual match will be.
The only complaint I would have is that this would have been a perfect spot for a pull apart brawl. Maybe that's because I'm still marking out for the John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar segment from Raw this past Monday. It would have worked wonders here, especially since it would have driven home the point that come Sunday night, no one would be able to get in between the two to stop them from killing each other.
