Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus 2 out of 3 falls match set for Extreme Rules in Chicago

Now here's a match stipulation I can get behind.

Sheamus was booked to beat Daniel Bryan for the world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania 28 this past April 1 in just 18 seconds. Whether that was done because Vince McMahon wanted to break the record for the fastest title defeat at the biggest show of the year or not, the result served to finally get Bryan over to the WWE masses.

The "YES! YES! YES!" t-shirt that was quickly designed and released coming out of WrestleMania weekend has sold like hotcakes. In fact, it's already on back order on WWE Shop.

The manner in which WWE has followed up has been somewhat curious. Bryan has spent little time on Raw but has been featured on Smackdown playing out his storyline with AJ, as opposed to focusing mainly on Sheamus. Instead, Sheamus has already seemingly moved on to a feud with Alberto Del Rio.

Indeed, Del Rio earned a title shot with a disqualification win on Smackdown last Friday and he's waiting in the wings. Despite this, Bryan vs. Sheamus was booked for Extreme Rules on April 29 in Chicago, Illinois, in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

The way the story is playing out, Sheamus looks poised to go over again and move on to Del Rio while Bryan will continue on with his tumultuous relationship with AJ and wherever that goes.

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing what Bryan can do with Sheamus in a match with a stipulation like this.
