After a year-long build, The Rock finally stepped back into the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) ring to settle his longstanding score with John Cena at WrestleMania 28, which blew the imaginary roof off the Sun Life Stadium earlier tonight (Sun., April 1, 2012) in Miami, Florida.
After a fairly slow-paced main event, "The Brahma Bull" cemented his status as "The Great One" by pinning John Cena following a series of near-falls and false finishes. Both competitors were booked to look strong but in the end, it just wasn't enough for the doctor of Thuganomics.
Cue the John Cena heel turn?
No run-ins from Brock Lesnar or Batista (sorry marks) so this one was finished fair and square. How about it Cagesiders, happy with the result? Or did the payoff fail to match the hype?
