Wrestlemania 28 results: Sheamus defeats Daniel Bryan in 18 seconds to become new world heavyweight champion

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan put his strap on the line against Sheamus earlier this evening at WrestleMania 28, which emanated live from the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.

"The Celtic Warrior" earned his crack at the crown by winning the 2012 Royal Rumble earlier this year, then justified the monster push he received in its wake by stripping Bryan of his title in a match that was shorter than the ring entrances.

That's because at the sound of the bell, Bryan turned his back on Sheamus to get a good-luck smooch from AJ, only to turn right back around and into the Brogue kick.

18 seconds later and it's 1,2,3.

Not that anyone should be surprised, considering some idiot in promotions accidentally spoiled the outcome a few days back, though you can argue that fans have been robbed of an actual match.

Nevertheless, Sheamus is your new world heavyweight champion.

U mad? Or screaming YES!
