WWE: Kevin Nash wants to finish feud with CM Punk

Despite the fact that he was teasing retirement following his last WWE match against Triple H at the TLC pay-per-view in Dec. 2011, Kevin Nash is getting the itch to get back inside the ring to finish what he started with WWE champion CM Punk.

From a recent interview with the U.K. Sun:

"I'd still like to do something with C.M. Punk in the future. I think we've got a chapter that's still open. Originally it was going to be me and Punk, but it turned out to be me and Hunter. ... I knew that I wasn't allowed to go off the script in those promos. I think (Punk) had a little more leeway than I did."

It was rather amazing how Nash went from a program with one of the biggest stars in the industry at present time to getting written off television in a glorified squash match at TLC by Triple H. But for him to suggest he was handicapped in promo exchanges with Punk is almost laughable.

Sure, Punk's been operating without much of a net for some time now, having earned the distinction of one of the few guys who can travel outside the parameters placed on him by the powers that be. But are we really to believe Nash felt so restricted that he couldn't travel outside the box like he's been known to do in times gone by?

Even if, the chances of WWE bringing him back in to finish his feud with Punk are slim to none. Nash also said he thinks he's got enough left in the tank to put some young guys over but at his age and with his mileage, it's doubtful we'll even see that much.

Big loss? Or would you like to see him back?
