At Final Battle 2011, when Kevin Steen scooped Steve Corino up and drove his skull through a quartet of steel chairs and into the mat, he stamped his ticket back into Ring of Honor (ROH).
Somewhere in Louisville, KY, Jim Cornette's physician began scribbling out a prescription for anti-anxiety medication.
Since returning to ROH, Steen has been vocal over his displeasure of how Cornette is captaining the ship. His gripes include not being booked on many of the company's shows while everything seems centered around World Champion Davey Richards who, according to "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare", would rather go to Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes or wrestle in Japan. He looks to unleash some pent up aggression when he squares off against Jimmy Jacobs in a couple of weeks.
He'll have even more ammunition when Richards teams up with training partner Kyle O'Reilly to take on the team of Eddie Edwards and Adam Cole in the main event of ROH's 10th Anniversary: Young Wolves Rising show. The splintered teams of American Wolves and Future Shock look to settle their differences at long last.
In tag team title action, The Young Bucks look to unseat the most successful duo -- and the only ROH originals remaining of the roster -- Mark and Jay Briscoe. Nick and Matt Jackson have developed a reputation for being both brash and arrogant as well as exciting. While the former might be exaggerated, the latter doesn't even do the brothers justice. They're the hottest team on the indie circuit now and you'd be remiss to not see them in action.
Those matches plus more can be seen live on internet pay-per-view (iPPV) on Mar. 4 through GFL.tv. And you can always depend on your friendly, neighborhood Cageside Seats crew to provide blow-by-blow action while you chat with the best wrestling community on the 'net.
