On this date in WWF history: The billion dollar poo-face

You know, with all the talk about the angle between John Cena and Eve last Monday night on RAW, and how denigrating it was not to just women, but also to the intelligence of pro wrestling fans around the globe, I couldn't think of a better time than now to whip this puppy out.

Eve might have been a conniving hussy, but at least she didn't get a face full of poo.

On the February 22, 2001, edition of World Wrestling Federation's (WWF) Smackdown!, Stephanie McMahon was hunting down diva extraordinaire Trish Stratus, who she believed was giving her father (and WWF Chairman) Vince a little Stratusfaction in the back of a limousine.

We even got the ol' foggy windows bit.

Turns out the limo was just a decoy to lure Stephanie out into the open to get a clean shot. Stratus attacked, and dragged her into a pile of hay, where she proceeded to beat the stuffing out of her and mash her face in a giant pile of cow manure.

Now, if you're wondering why a sports arena has cows, hay and manure, keep in mind this was the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, which at the time was home to the American Royal livestock show.

Something about seeing the billion-dollar princess lying half-conscious in a pile of hay, choking and gagging on poo and shame, made me feel less offended by Eve-gate.

Judge for yourself, after the jump.

Yuck.
