CSSGMT: Elite Eight Schedule and other tournament notes

Now that we've finished up the Cageside Seats Survivor Series Tournament, which was a fun little break for all those who participated, it's time to get back to the Greatest Matches Tournament.

Yes, that thing is still going.

When we last left you back on Nov. 16, "Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart, WrestleMania 12" had defeated "Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon, WrestleMania 10" to become the final match to advance to the Elite Eight round. It was then that we went on hiatus.

Well now we're back, baby.

There are only seven match-ups left to play out in the tourney, four of which will take place in the Elite Eight round. Because we've been running so many tournaments, I've decided we'll take a week off from asking anyone to vote for anything and get a fresh (re)start on this thing next Monday.

With that out of the way, here's the schedule:

Mon., Dec. 10: (3) "Royal Rumble 1992" vs. (5) "CM Punk v Samoa Joe, Joe vs. Punk II, Joe vs. Punk 2004"

Tues., Dec. 11: (1) "Randy Savage v Ricky Steamboat, WrestleMania 3" vs. (3) "Shawn Michaels v Undertaker, Badd Blood 1997"

Wed., Dec. 12: (1) "Bret Hart v Stone Cold Steve Austin, WrestleMania 13" vs. (3) "Shawn Michaels v Bret Hart, WrestleMania 12"

Thurs., Dec. 13: (1) "Bret Hart v British Bulldog, SummerSlam 1992" vs. (3) "The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, WrestleMania 17"

There's some serious firepower in there. This should be good.
