WWE MAIN EVENT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR DEC. 26

See you tonight, folks.

C.J. here for your Wednesday night fun.

Wicked awesome Main Event theme song plays, and broadcast is live.

Michael Cole, The Miz, and Antonio Cesaro are all at the announcers desk.

The ring already contains most of the contestants, but we get a few late stragglers into the ring. Shame this wasn't a Royal Rumble set up.

Cole informs us the rules of a Battle Royal in case we've never seen one before.

Full list of contestants, in no particular order: Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal, The Usos, Primo, Epico, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Brodus Clay, Great Khali, Ted DiBiase, Darren Young, Titus O Neil, Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Zack Ryder, Santino Marella and Wade Barrett.

----------

Battle Royal for #1 Contender for the United States Champion

Yoshi is the first man to go after Khali, and he gets tossed over the ropes right away. Poor Yoshi.

The ring explodes into chaos and everyone pairs up. Brodus Clay sends Primo over the top.

Cesaro continues to badmouth the United States, and it is up to Miz to defend our honor. YOU GO MIZ! U-S-A! U-S-A!

Cole goes over the rules again, just in case we've never seen a battle royal before.

Close call for Santino, but he is able to hang onto the apron.

Dew McIntyre have a back and forth going on with Tyson Kidd. Drew almost over, then Kidd, and finally Drew gets tossed. Drew gets pissed and pulls Kidd out of the ring with him. Both done.

Gabriel gets tossed out on top of the two men as we go to commercial.

We come back with Cody Rhodes just about to be eliminated, but he is able to roll under the bottom rope.

One of the Usos gets tossed, but Cole has no clue which one it was. And neither do I. He is followed by Regal.

Cole and Miz give Cesaro his due for his impressive United States Championship reign. Then Miz makes fun of Cesaro because he doesn't wear kneepads.

Santino gets tossed from the turnbuckle but manages to hold on. Epico gets a bit too close, and a head scissor by Santino eliminates him.

Khali and Brodus having a big man showdown in the middle of the ring. They go back and forth, but Khali pretty easily sends Brodus over the top rope.

Khali with wicked chops to Titus in the corner.

Cole: "The other Uso eliminated"

Back to Khali with the chops to everyone who is left. Sandow, Santino, and Titus again suffer some brutal chops.

We go to commercial with Ryder hugging the bottom rope like it's the only thing he has left in WWE. Which, in some respects, it kind of is.

The Prime Time Players, Khali, Cody, Sandow, Barrett, Ryder and Santino are left in the ring.

Prime Time Players teaming up against Khail, Rhodes Scholars against Santino, and Barrett against Ryder.

Khali going on a wicked tear. Both Titus, Darren, Sandow all over the top. Cody makes a valiant effort to stay on the apron, but a chop to the dome knocks him off.

Now it is up to Santino to take out Khali, and he is doing an impressive job. A Cobra knocks the big man down. Santino tells Ryder to hit the Bro Kick, and he obliges.

AND SANTINO SENDS HIS FRIEND OVER THE TOP ROPE! THAT SNEAKY BASTARD!

Santino apologizing to Ryder, but Khali is able to get up and toss him over. No honor among thieves, my friends.

That leaves Khali and Barrett left in the ring. A hard back and forth between the two with some stiff punches and chops. Khali almost sends Barrett over, but Wade is able to hang on.

And then Barrett goes over the top rope. Khali wins. The Great Khali is the #1 Contender for the United States Championship.

I'll repeat.

Khali wins. The Great Khali is the #1 Contender for the United States Championship.

Cesaro enters the ring, and Khali looks ready for a fight. But the US Champion offers his hand, and the pair share a respectful handshake in the middle of the ring.

We go to commercial with Khali dancing to his music.

----------

We come back with a interview backstage with Khali. He starts to speak, but from out of no where Cesaro attacks. Khali is down. Cesaro starts his five language gimmick, but Khali responds with a chop. Cesaro drops the belt and goes running for the hills.

Khali: "See you next week." Or something like that. I cannot understand a word the man is saying.

A recap of the Christmas Special Monday Night Raw.

----------

3MB out to the ring.

----------

Tribute to the Troops recap

----------

3MB in the ring, rocking out.

Heath Slater somehow last his voice. The man can hardly speak, let alone let out a righteous Rock n' Roll scream. McIntrye explaining that Slater has lost his voice because of Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. The pair is trying to ruin 3MB's musical and sports entertainment career.

Those bastards!

Kidd and Gabriel out to the ring to respond.

----------

Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntrye vs. Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel

Cole comparing Slater to Niel Diamond as the action gets started. Mahal and Kidd are first in the ring, but both make quick tags to McIntrye and Gabriel. A quick back and forth between the two, but Gabriel is able to get the upper hand. A tag to Kidd and they start the double team. Kidd gets a two count before Gabriel tags back in for another quick two.

McIntrye is able to make it to the corner, but that just leads Mahal to receiving the double team. A two count for Gabriel and he tags Kidd in.

A head scissor sends Mahal over the top rop. McIntrye comes off the apron to help his friend out but receives a boot to the face for his trouble. Kidd goes flying over the top, but 2/3 of 3MB catches him.

And here comes Gabriel with the suicide dive.

We go to commercial with all four men on the ground.

We come back with Gabriel in control of McIntrye. Drew is dragged to the corner and Kidd gets the tag. He gets a quick two count. Kidd lands a few stiff kicks, but he is finally grounded by McIntrye. He gets the two count.

Mahal gets the tag and starts work on Kidd's neck. Kidd tries to fight out of it, but a tag to McIntrye puts an end to that.

Kidd pulls a rollup from out of nowhere, but it's only good for two. A tag to Mahal and he goes back to work on Kidd's neck.

The Miz tells us that he would never kiss AJ. In recent news, The Miz is a liar.

Kidd is doing his best to fight through 3MB's attack. He is inches, nay, centimeters from Gabriel in the corner. Slater runs around the back and pulls Gabriel from the apron. Kidd is able to fight off Mahal, and Gabriel is able to get back on the apron for the tag. Mahal runs back to his corner to tag in McIntrye.

Gabriel hits the spinning DDT and goes for the pin. Only good for two. He goes for the 540 Splash, but meets nothing but apron. McIntrye gets a two count. A vicious boot, and another two count.

Mahal and Gabriel going at it. A nearfall by Kidd broken up by McIntrye. McIntrye gets tossed to the ropes and eats a right hand from Gabriel and a boot from Kidd. McIntrye's out.

A tag to Kidd. Gabriel picks up Mahal. Kidd with a flying neck breaker from the top rope gets the three count.

International Airstrike are the winners.

They celebrate with backflips and we fade to black.

End.
