On this date in WCW history: Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas defeat Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes at 'Clash of Champions'

Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas defeated Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes at Clash of the Champions on this date in WCW history to win the NWA tag team titles.

On November 18, 1992, Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas defeated Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes to win the NWA and WCW World Tag Team Titles at Clash of the Champions XXI.

This was a memorable bout for me and not just because you had four guys who could work, but you also had the stellar announce team of Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura.

Crowd was inexplicably comatose, especially for the Macon Coliseum, but it did little to detract from Windham's heel turn, where he unveiled the "Implant DDT."

Any other Cagesiders out there notice how stiff those slaps were at the end? Ouch!
