The tag team division may be experiencing something of a resurgence in WWE but it will do so with one less team in the mix.
That's because Kofi Kingston and R-Truth have officially split up.
They both had separate segments on last night's (Oct. 8, 2012) episode of Monday Night Raw and after the show, WWE.com posted a video with the two explaining why they're going their separate ways.
Kofi:
"We're definitely a little upset (about getting eliminated in the tag team title tournament) but when we first became a tag team, our goal was to set the tag team division on fire and that's exactly where we're at right now. So, mission accomplished."
Truth:
"Where we're at right now is there's things I want to do with Little Jimmy. I want to take him around and do things. Kofi's a great, excellent wrestler by himself, he wants to get into some solo stuff."
Kofi once more:
"As does Truth. We want to take on the singles career. We want do do big things."
And there you have it, Cagesiders.
Sad?
