Bret Hart vs. 1-2-3 Kid, Raw 1994
Kid was a really small, geeky, perennial underdog early in his WWF career and while he had already had his big moment with Scott Hall, no one could have possibly imagined Hart would give him a legitimate four star match with the title up for grabs on a seemingly routine episode of Raw.
It drew a standing ovation from Randy Savage, who was doing commentary ringside and said it was "one of the greatest matches ever."
Ric Flair vs. Randy Savage, WrestleMania 8
It was supposed to be Flair vs. Hulk Hogan at 'Mania but what we got was so much better. Instead, Flair claimed to have had an affair with Miss Elizabeth, enraging the always jealous "Macho Man" and leading to an incredible main event at the biggest stage possible.
Watch Savage sell that leg.
