Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes unified the tag team titles on this date in WCW history, defeating Steve Williams and Terry Gordy on an episode of WCW Saturday Night.

On October 3, 1992, Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes unified the WCW and NWA tag team titles at WCW Saturday Night by defeating Steve Williams and Terry Gordy.

They would eventually lose the belts to Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas on November 18 at Clash of the Champions, setting up another heel turn for Windham.
