On this date in WWF history: Stone Cold gets revenge on Rikishi, gets arrested

When Stone Cold Steve Austin returned after a year away from the WWF after neck surgery, you knew he was going to get his revenge on the guy who ran him down in storyline, Rikishi. Naturally, he was arrested.

On October 22, 2000, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin faced off against Rikishi in a "No Holds Barred" match at WWF No Mercy from the Pepsi Arena, in Albany, New York.

"The Rattlesnake" wanted revenge on the man behind the stinkface for running him over at Survivor Series. Why did Rikishi run Austin down with a car?

He did it ... for da Rock.

After Fatu ate multiple chair-shots, the match ended in a "No Contest" when Stone Cold tried to run him over with a truck but instead crashed into a cop car -- and was subsequently taken away in cuffs.

And good ole J.R. sold it like only he can.
