Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker, Badd Blood 1997
Bret Hart may have been the WWF champion but it was Michaels and Undertaker who were given the main event slot in a number one contender match to that title in the very first Hell in a Cell match in history.
It was a five-star classic, one of only five matches in WWF history to receive that honor from the Observer.
Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit, Royal Rumble 2001
The two good friends had been feuding for nearly a year heading into this match, which would serve to blow off their feud so they could finally go their separate ways. So of course they had to make it special.
They did so in a ladder match with plenty of high spots and solid psychology.
