Just days ago, reports circulated that Triple H was at New York Giants practice because he was in town to negotiate a deal that will see WrestleMania 29 (or 30) take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey next year (or the year after).
It was widely speculated that WrestleMania 30 would be held at Madison Square Garden, simply for tradition as both WrestleMania 10 and 20 were held at the world famous arena. However, WrestleMania has become a stadium show and because of that, multiple reports were published saying the Garden would not be hosting the event.
Hey, this is pro wrestling, misinformation is everywhere.
Even more reports (see?) came out stating WrestleMania 30 would take place at Cowboys Stadium, which holds over 100,000 people for Dallas Cowboys football games. The DallasObserver is now reporting, though, that it ain't happening, as told by Brett Daniels, a spokesman for the stadium:
"We can't host WrestleMania the next two years because of NCAA Regional in '13 and Final Four in '14. We've talked with them and gave it a shot but couldn't make the schedule work."
And there you have it.
We won't know for certain what plans are until WWE officially announces them, which they have yet to do. We'll most certainly pass word along whenever that happens.
