When it was announced that Edge would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at this year's WrestleMania, which takes place in Miami, Florida, it came as a surprise to many because it was heavily rumored that the promotion would return to Toronto for WrestleMania 29 next year.

As it turns out, that's likely not going to happen.

PoptheCrowd.com is reporting that "The Granddaddy of Them All" will head back to New Jersey for the first time since WrestleMania 5 at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. Here's the word:

As it was reported yesterday, Triple H visited the New York Giants' practice yesterday as they were preparing for their playoff game against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. From a very reliable source, word coming out of the Giants organization yesterday was that Triple H was in town with WWE Officials to finalize a deal to bring WrestleMania 29 (or possibly 30) to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

It did seem odd that Triple H would just randomly show up to New York Giants practice while they're preparing for their Divisional Round NFL Playoff game against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. Now, we know he may have been setting up the next spot for WrestleMania 29. Or 30, as the report states.

That's perhaps the more interesting date, as it was previously heavily rumored WWE would head back to Madison Square Garden for its historic thirtieth show just because it held both WrestleMania 10 and 20 there.

We'll let you know when an official announcement is made either way.
