On this date in ECW history: Rhino becomes the last man to hold the World Television Title

On September 9, 2000, Rhino defeated Kid Kash to win Extreme Championship Wrestling's (ECW) World Television Title.

As it turns out, he would be the last ECW wrestler to hold it, as the promotion was later acquired by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).

Rhino would also transition to the WWF, where he became known as "Rhyno." In addition to winning the promotion's hardcore championship, "The Man Beast" would also have notable feuds with Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit.

Any Cagesiders have a favorite Rhino memory from the days of ECW?
