The ratings are in for last night's WWE Raw Supershow, which was the go home show to Hell in a Cell this Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 in New Orleans.
PWTorch has the cold hard numbers:
WWE Raw on Monday, September 26 scored a 2.92 rating, slipping below the fall season water level of a 3.00 rating last week.
Raw averaged 4.15 million viewers, down four percent from 4.33 million viewers last week. Raw's first hour averaged 4.17 million viewers and the second hour declined to 4.13 million viewers.
This is actually a damn good rating considering the stellar competition Raw was facing last night. Monday Night Football featured a marquee match-up between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys, with Tony Romo getting a ton of publicity for playing with a cracked rib and punctured lung, as well as a brand spankin' new episode of Pawn Stars.
Simply put, it doesn't matter how good or bad WWE's product is, when it's up against those two powerhouses, it's going to take a hit.
The good news is that this week hardly reflected that, at least based on the 3.0 the show garnered for the edition directly after the Night of Champions pay-per-view where John Cena won the title back from Alberto Del Rio.
