On September 26, 1999, Triple H pinned The Rock in the main event of Unforgiven, the "Six-Pack Challenge," to win the vacated WWF Championship.
Why was it called "Six-Pack Challenge?"
Well, in addition to having six participants in Triple H, The Rock, Mankind, Kane, Big Show and the British Bulldog, Stone Cold Steve Austin (and his Steveweisers) served as the special ringside enforcer.
As expected, it contained plenty of run-ins, near falls, referee changes, chair shots and just about anything else the writers could come up with to season the main event steak.
