TNA has an ambitious plan for its upcoming Bound for Glory pay-per-view event, which is set to go down on Oct. 16 at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The company has decided to show the event in over 100 theaters across America.
WWE has had success airing WrestleMania via closed circuit viewing in the past but I wonder if this is really a viable option for TNA. They're attempting to draw more revenue outside of pay television with the move but how many folks will find it appealing to go to a theater to watch a pro wrestling event?
Especially one headlined by Hulk Hogan vs. Sting?
States with the most listings are Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Texas, which all have fairly strong ties to TNA. They're also hitting the bigger markets, like New York. Prices are generally in the range of $12 to $15.
