WWE mid-card comedy act Santino Marella was involved in a two-car collision just last night (Sept. 1) in Toronto. He suffered a separated left shoulder in the accident and will be out for an indefinite period of time. He's not expected to be out long but at the very least, he won't be on Raw this coming Monday (Sept. 5).
"My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in. The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder. There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck. Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out."
Marella's car was hit by another vehicle but no "foul play" was suspected. The other driver reportedly remained at the scene until police arrived and everything was hunky-dory and on the up-and-up.
